Yep the DUB flight. Strong winds.See a flybe E190 diverted to brs this evening. Is this weather related.
Nope G-FBEK one of the based E 195s, the Dash 8 G-PRPA is doing the CDG flight now as BHD is coming up as delayed till 16.00. It's just lazy and poor journalism. A few simple checks and they would've found out the aircraft and the amount of passengers it can carry. What sort of aircraft was Flybe using for this trip? A leased one? Over 150 passengers??!
I've been commenting on the deteriorating standard of journalism this morning when posting in a couple of other threads. Recently, the Bristol Post reported that a TUI B757 that made an en-route landing at BRS because of rowdy passengers was carrying over 300 passengers.Nope G-FBEK one of the based E 195s, the Dash 8 G-PRPA is doing the CDG flight now as BHD is coming up as delayed till 16.00. A “smell of burning” passed through the cabin?
There was the Flybe birdstrike but i'm not sure if a Mayday was called on that. Apart from thankfully i don't think there has been one for quite a while. One of the first full emergencies or Mayday’s in a while at CWL ?
It went for an oil change in BRS (Southside, where the Eastern Embraers are based for the Airbus shuttles)A319 VP-BDY from VIM Airlines diverted into CWL at 12.10 then departed at 14.43 for St Athan.
JS 41 G-MAJG from Eastern Airlines departed to Bristol at 10.40 then arrived back at 12.42. Anyone know the reason for this?
