Looking at the forecaste can’t see much moving in and out over the next few days. Looks like there is potential of some serious snow.

Where did tonights Munich flight end up? Did it get into Cardiff?

Flightradar seems to think it went to Swansea. Obviously no chance of that happening though.

Tonights Amsterdam is on approach and looks to be landing shortly.

If Flight radar says it's diverted to Swansea or St Athan then the flight generally has landed. It only happens with Flybe as well, something to do with their transponders.

So far tomorrow the 06.00 departure to Edinburgh along with the 09.00 arrival is cancelled and the 10.30 Glasgow departure along with 13.45 arrival has been cancelled. Also the usual 07.30 Anglesey departure isn't on the departure board but the 09.45 arrival is classed as delayed.

According to the departure and arrivals board the KLM AMS flights haven't been cancelled yet. Guess it's a case of wait and see.

At the moment there is only the TUI arrival from Lanzarote due at 19.05 and it's currently over Portugal.

I would of thought he'd divert. The roads are bad right now, let alone the airport runway.

A TUI 757 flying from Lanzarote to Birmingham is in a hold over south wales.

Also a Thomas Cook A320 has just landed at Bristol so the 737 bound for Cardiff would potentially end up at BRS.

Tui landed back at CWL ok.
All other airlines cancelled their inbound flights after 14:00
There were two Beech 200 King Air's that diverted to Cardiff.

As for tomorrow (Departures for tomorrow cancellations)

BE4501 Edinburgh
KL1058 Amsterdam
BE4521 Dublin
BE7614 Anglesey
KL1060 Amsterdam
VO7001 Parma
BE4525 Dublin
BE4527 Dublin

According to the airport website the TUI flight from TFS due at 18.10 is delayed. For tomorrow morning the 06.00 KLM AMS departure is cancelled and the 09.50 arrival and 10.20 departure is also cancelled.

Having seen some of the images around the Vale of Glamorgan I am not surprised one bit.

All flights were Cancelled today due to additional snow so the airport is closed until tomorrow.

Flybe has all flights cancelled today and KLM has it's flights cancelled except the 21.30 arrival for the overnight aircraft. TUI is marked as delayed for Alicante and Las Palmas and Sunday mornings Bridgetown is delayed until 08.55.
Vueling are operating today both the Alicante and Malaga flights are due to arrive around 12.25.

I think the issue is getting crew to operate the flight. Many side roads in the worst affected areas are still not drivable. Accompanying that with lack of public transport as an alternative method to travel to/from the airport.

Meanwhile warmer temperatures have arrived and therefore normal service should start resuming tomorrow or Monday.

Everything looks back to normal at the airport now.
Last night an Easyjet flight from Marrakesh to Manchester diverted into the airport at 00.30 and then departed to Manchester at 2.05. I don't know the reason why.

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
