Cardiff Airport appoints new Aviation Development Manager
Cardiff Airport is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Watkins as its new Aviation Development Manager. Watkins brings to the post over 25 years of experience in the UK aviation sector, including working in account management and route development roles for over 13 years at Birmingham and Coventry Airports.As well as running his own B2B communications company, Watkins was also Editor at aviation route development publication anna.aero for six years. He gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Transport Management from Aston University in Birmingham, and he also holds a Master of Science degree in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University.
In his new role, Watkins’ primary function will be building on Cardiff’s relationships with its existing airlines and aviation partners along with seeking new business opportunities and growing the Airport’s route network as a key priority.
