SSP and Greggs have partnered to open a new unit at Cardiff Airport on the 4th May 2023 and it is the first reveal of many planned improvements to the passenger experience at Cardiff Airport.
For those looking to grab their favourite food and drink on the go, the diverse menu will offer something for everyone, including the iconic Greggs Sausage Roll, and a range of savouries, daily-fresh sandwiches, sweet treats, coffees and juices. The unit is located on the first floor before the security check point, providing a great convenient option for travellers coming through the airport.
“We have listened to our customers and it is great to be in a position to offer an alternative cost effective food offering. Greggs will feature prominently within our refreshed main terminal before security; the shop will be a great addition to the airport and complement the facilities located in the departure lounge for passengers” said Lee Smith, Head of Business Development.
Greggs Commercial Director, Malcolm Copland, said: “We are delighted to open another shop with SSP. We know that high quality food-on-the-go and convenience go hand in hand, and this shop at Cardiff Airport gives us the opportunity to bring our range of products to more customers in an exciting new location.”
Kari Daniels, CEO SSP UK & Ireland, said; “At SSP, we take great pride in having brought a number of customer-favourite high street brands into travel locations around the globe. Our partnership with Greggs gives guests the opportunity to engage with a true British F&B institution during their travels, with both familiar favourites and an ever-evolving menu of new treats. This, our first unit with the brand in an airport environment, is a welcome next step in our partnership and we’re confident that international guests at the airport will fully embrace the offer.”

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
