Bristol Airport to host an additional recruitment fair to prepare for a busy autumn and winter season.

After the success of two previous Jobs Fairs, Bristol Airport will be hosting another one this month to highlight the wide range of current job opportunities on offer. The Airport will be teaming up with other employers based across the site for an event on Thursday 15th September between 11am – 2pm, giving prospective candidates the chance to find out more about the variety of permanent roles available including customer service, hospitality, retail, airline handling and security.

There are over 50 employers operating out of Bristol Airport so there really is something for everyone! Represented on the day, amongst others, will be security provider – ICTS; travel catering specialist – SSP; duty free shopping operator – WDF, plus Swissport, DHL, Jet2, Mitie, InMotion, Soho Coffee, Hilton, Sixt, Europcar and special assistance company - OCS.

Free parking will be available, and we’ll be offering the Bristol A1 Flyer and the Weston A3 Flyer for free for all attendees on the day of the fair.

Debbie Hartshorn, People Director, Bristol Airport said:

"After an exceptionally busy summer season for the Airport, we have experienced a strong recovery and have seen a significant increase in passenger numbers over the summer months. Bristol Airport has seen the fastest recovery of any UK airport and we are anticipating the autumn and winter seasons to be busy too. We therefore will be hosting a further jobs fair to showcase the wide range of employers and the interesting roles to suit people with different skills and experiences

“No two days working at an airport are the same, and our teams need a good mix of those starting out in their working career and those with more life experience. If you enjoy working as part of a team, are self-motivated and take pride in a job well done, then we could have the perfect opportunity for you. Working at Bristol Airport offers endless possibilities, and you will have a brilliant team behind you who will support you on your journey.”

The Jobs Fair will be held in Lulsgate House at Bristol Airport on Thursday 15 September, between 11am and 2pm.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
