Scottish carrier Loganair is expanding its presence at London Heathrow airport thanks to a lease arrangement with British Airways.

The airline has secured 30 additional pairs of slots each week at the airport under a lease arrangement with BA, which takes effect from May 2023.

Sean M is reporting on Twitter that this is being done so that Dundee flights can be moved to Heathrow from London City, and so that Derry can be moved over from Stansted

I thought they already had the slots to move the Derry service but could be wrong on that one. If so will be interesting to see what else develops but whatever does this seems a good move consolidating at one LON airport and no doubt with a BA code-share and interline agreement in place

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
