It was mentioned in the Birmingham forum how flights to Canada had been decreasing from the UK year on year. It might only be a small addition but let's hope this is the start of a revival. Its hard to imagine flights operating to Canada fron places like Exeter or Leeds these days.

I’m led to believe that EDI offered AC very attractive terms and landing fees etc to persuade them to operate almost year round. They will hope to attract pax away from Air Transat year round service from GLA.

It appears that Air Canada are going back to summer only from Edinburgh, with the last flight currently showing as October 26th. I will of course updates if anything changes.
