I'd venture the number and variety of of private passenger aeroplanes we see at Leeds Bradford is at least partly due to limited scheduled airline services to many parts of Europe and beyond.
Possibly but a lot come from places we do have services too. PMI crops up a lot and of course some are air ambulances.

I'd say most are people who have the funds to go there they want in style. The number of these flights increased after lockdown when scheduled services weren't back to normal, and people probably felt happier having their own transport. The numbers haven't diminished and if anything, have increased.

Another to look out for tomorrow morning.

Air X Charter Embraer 190 Legacy, 9H-FAY due to position in empty at 09:45 from Cologne as AXY559F. It’s then due out to Crete Heraklion at 11:10 as AXY909A.
And another Air X in half an hour later from GLA, this time a CRJ200, and also going to Heraklion. Someone having a big fat Greek wedding??

We have another(different) Klasjet 737/300 LY-BGS(Klasjet 4199) flight planned in from Stansted at 1540 tomorrow. Thought it may be for Leeds United heading to Dublin but I cant seean outbound flight-plan
The same Klasjet B737-300 LY-BGS is due back in tommorow evening from Dublin 19:55 and departs back out to Marseille at 21:00 STC

On a side note the 2 Jet2 B737-300s have positioned back with GDFM expected 01:15 from Faro and GDFL returning earlier from Prague.

20k divided into 10 pax = 2k each, pretty good! 😀
A group of us looked into booking one last year for a golf trip but a few bottled out so we ended up going with Ryanair. 🤣🤣

The poorly Jet2 737-300 G-GDFM came back to LBA in the early hours of this morning from FAO as EXS047A

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
