I'm not sure if Aurigny are currently short of aircraft, but recently they have been using both Avanti Air DHC-8 (possibly one to look out for at LPL) and Titan A320's into BHX.
They must be a bit short,.I think they have disposed of their EmB 195. Titan A320 is due back GCI-LPL-GCI on Thursday.

Yes they are definitely a bit short they are using Titan again into BHX today and the Avanti DH8 is positioning out from Birmingham to Guernsey this morning presumably operating on their behalf as previously.

Must costing them but then again I think they are Guernsey government backed.

The Avanti Dash goes home today and is replaced by a Luxwing one so the Titan
A320 is covering

LPL to GCI has been suspended for 5 weeks ( along with EXT to.GCI ) . Trying so.sort aircraft issues before summer holidays .

Read on X Aurigny will not operate GCI - LPL next year. I can't say I'm surprised, their schedule keeping has been appalling. I gone to Jersey a number of times with Easyjet and was thinking of trying Guernsey but they were too unreliable with all their aircraft issues.

I'd be surprised if Aurigny are even still flying next year...They're issues are starting to look insurmountable.

Whilst Aurigny are owned by Guernsey so state aid can keep them flying, but there has to come a point when they have to revamp it and make it work at less cost...chartering East European cowboys isn't helping their image either...
But a small Island without any sort of mass, critical or otherwise, resulting in high fares doesn't bode well without talking about inept management...

The day when you had the likes of Air UK and BMA offering connectivity from JER and.GCI to all over the UK has long gone. Jersey has the longer runway so can attract Easyjet to offer low fares, therefore compete better with sun flights to Med destinations. Guernsey doesn't have this option, and puts the island at a disadvantage.

I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

If you’re tired of takeoffs, you’re tired of life.
49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
