• EK27 from Dubai diverted to London Gatwick
• LS174 from Faro diverted to Newcastle

Update on EK27.

Flight diverted to LGW after 2 attempts to land in GLA, with the weather having not improved the decision has been made to offload all passengers and have them spend the night in LGW.

This flight will now depart LGW at 1545 and land into GLA at 1710 tomorrow afternoon.

A new GLA-DXB flight has been scheduled for tomorrow. EK8028 will depart GLA at 1900 and is estimated into Dubai at 0457.

This should be the first time since March 2020 that EK have had two departures from GLA to Dubai in the same day

Not a particularly great day for GLA cancellations wise, although worth pointing out most are either Island flights with Loganair, or caused by weather elsewhere.
