Not strictly CWL but all these destinations can be accessed from Cardiff using the KLM service. KLM IFly Magazine have released their Top 50 destinations for 2018 and some of them look amazing.

Considering KLM seem to be making changes at other airports i thought I'd check to see if they had made any at CWL and it looks like everything is unchanged.
Still 6 flights a day both ways Monday to Friday with 5 on Saturday and Sundays with no overnight aircraft Saturday night.
Looking at aircraft with the exception of the Sunday morning rotation which is down for an E190 all the other flights are down for the E175 but with KLM that may well change due to operational requirements.

Looking at KLM for November the first month of an all E jet service Amsterdam was up 10% to 12,129 for the month. Whether there is a connection or not i don't know but hopefully the trend will continue.

Little upgrade for tonight E190 PH-EZE is currently on the way operating KL1069 from AMS and will be the overnight aircraft that will operate KL1058 the 06.00 departure in the morning.

Today's 09.50 arrival and 10.20 departure were cancelled. The morning departure was fine and this evenings departure arrived at 17.20 and it looks like it is still waiting to clearance to depart as it is at this moment still on the ground.

The 09.50 arrival from Amsterdam has been cancelled along with the corresponding 10.20 departure.

That is the second day running the KLM1059/KLM1060 has been cancelled. I cant say its a tech aircraft or weather related.I can only assume its a low take up of pax for this rotation..The route is ams due in at 09.50

Or KLM have a shortage of aircraft and crew's. I can't see the loads being that bad as this is the return for the first long haul arrival wave. Unfortunately for anyone on that flight inbound there is a long wait till the next one.

Sorry i don't understand the question? CWL has 3 departures and 3 arrivals a day making 6 flights with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays where on Saturday there are 3 departures and 2 arrivals and Sunday 2 departures and 3 arrivals.

A flight won't be cancelled the day before because of low loads, that's commercial suicide. KLM will very rarely cancel a flight due to low loads unless far in advance or over Christmas. Given the snow forecast that's currently heading for the Netherlands, I would've thought it's down to reduced runway capacity.

The post as it reads there is 6 flights per day. It is 3 flights per day with a return that you don't count

It is 6 flights a day as the flights are individual. 3 departures and 3 arrivals. They would be counted as 3 rotations a day.

With Qatar Airways starting to tommorrow how do people see KLM reacting if at all as they generally have been the dominant long haul carrier in the South Wales and South West areas for quite a while now.

It could stimulate growth. KLM fares can be very high so the entry of Qatar as a long haul alternative could see prices, particularly on KLMs routes to Asia and the Pacific coming down. This could also encourage KLM to reinstate the fourth daily rotation. KLM will still be the dominant carrier for north and South America as you would have to be mad to connect in Doha to get to the states.

There does seem to an empahsis with Qatar on Thailand and Australia and New Zealand and i wonder if as well it'll provide better connections to India. KLM do have North and South America and Europe as well and might prove to be a better option so China and they have the European connections as well, some of which can be good value but others can be really expensive. Hopefully in the long run we might start to see bigger aircraft from KLM like the E190 and maybe even 737 700s.

Think it will only see the 737 type on special events going on with large numbers flying. The E190 is the biggest airplane city hopper use,the 737 is a main line aircraft. Yes it would be good to up grade to a E190 aircraft.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
