I did not know Mr.Farnell, but, sadly, I believe he may have died in June. By pure chance I came across a death notice in a Cambridgeshire newspaper which fits his details. I hope I am wrong, but the name and location correspond to those on his profile.

That is very sad news. Great contributor. Thoughts with his family.
