Indeed, there is lots of discussion on the 300’s unreliability particularly FO, what is the reality??

Unfortunately I don't have access to all the records of the Jet2 fleet but I’ll see what I can find out in the next week or so. It only has to get us there as we are flying back with FR on a MAX.Oh I personally do hope you get FO to whisk you down to the Algarve. On time there & back then hopefully, but doubtful, you’llabout the 737-300’s and how unreliable they are! Do you have any stats to back this up? Are they really anymore unreliable than some of the 737-800’s LS operate?
Put it this way, the pilots always take a tin of jet engine oil and a bottle of hydraulic fluid with them when flying a 300.Indeed, there is lots of discussion on the 300’s unreliability particularly FO, what is the reality??
I bet you’re relieved you’re flying back on a MAX then because they’ve never had ANY safety or tech issues since they were launched have they…..Oh, hang on a minuteUnfortunately I don't have access to all the records of the Jet2 fleet but I’ll see what I can find out in the next week or so. No they are Long Range (LR) not Extra Long Range (XLR) are Jet2 going to dip their toes in over the pond? They have a range of 4000 nmi……MAN to MCO 3681 nmi, who knows?I doubt it as they will go to MAN for final fitting out and also note that two are eztra long range
They could be MSNs that were intended for other carriers but have since been reallocated to Jet2. I wouldn’t read anything into the LR variants as yet if indeed they are to be delivered.I doubt it as they will go to MAN for final fitting out and also note that two are eztra long range
But they don't own any A330’s just the leased ones from Air Tanker…why lease when you own one than can reach that Florida holiday destination. I remember MAN to SFB on an Air 2000 757 many many years ago with a splash and dash at Gander…it was absolutely fine. They'll be taken from slots that are available. Maybe they have the rang but I very much doubt that they'll use them across the pond. A330 Neos for that one.
Always delivered into Manchester that has been the record if you look. Where they are put in to the hanger and then brought out into commercial service. Then before you know it they end up somewhere else - Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stansted, Birmingham or Luton.

G-GDFO not moved since its return flight from CDG on Monday….has it gone tech again?
