Looks like Jet2 are going to have every little of corner of Greece covered which is great to see. I wonder if they’ll ever take a look at Karpathos? I don’t think a U.K. tour operator has ever flown there but I gather the number of people visiting is increasing. It’s pretty much the last big Greek island left and if anyone can make it work then it would certainly be Jet2.
Karpathos, little known island between Crete and Rhodes. From what I understand, very quiet place to visit. Yes it may be an opportunity, but until another European operator commences holidays there on a regular basis, I can't see Jet2 or even Tui starting there soon.

...and it's a beauty... and have wanted a UK tour operator to fly there since I got into travel in the 80's....alas not. Kythera also, as a Dutch operator used to fly there until covid hit 🙏

TUI Nordic & Netherlands, Transavia, Neos, Eurowings and others already serve Karpathos so like you say definitely an opportunity.

Karpathos is beautiful. But the infrastructure is quite limited as holiday islands go. There are few if any night clubs with cheap beer so UK tourists would not flock there. Shame.

Samos is exactly the same, yet Jet2 have ventured there. I've been many times to Samos and the peace and quiet is the reason I have been. Admittedly there are more hotels and apartments I'd imagine on Samos than Karpathos, however this is the same issue in La Palma and probably why BHX hasn't been added yet

Anyone surprised jet2 haven’t increased Morocco and added more routes?

No not surprised. Caution is what they do and why they do as well as they do.

Increasing depends on hotels, depends on runway slots and the return. Increasing Morocco may require sacrificing a canary island in winter. Which generates better revenue?

I do know the 321’s are heading down to Morroco this winter from Manchester & Birmingham. The intention to use them out of Stansted too when they get enough (winter 26/27).

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
