Perhaps people don't remember but one of the reasons the reactions were introduced to the forum was because some members felt their posts weren't being read. Not everyone uses them but also, non registered readers can't. Viewing from a PC will allow you to see the number of thread views from within the individual forums.

For example the Leeds Bradford Airport - General Thread has had more the 800k (thousand) views.

I have to admit when I first joined this forum, I only read the Birmingham pages, but now I always click on the "new posts" link and look at all new posts, some i find interesting, some i just flick through, but i have to admit i do get fed up with all the Leeds/Bradford v Doncaster pointless posts, why cant everyone get on, does it matter if we have 1 or 2 airports in Yorkshire?

I must admit I do not always press the thanks button, but I always read them. They are one of the most authoritative contributions of the forum. They are a huge contribution which must take a great deal of time and effort to produce,

I definitely read a lot of different posts for different airports, however much of a bias I have to LBA. I will even contribute on other airport threads too. Your posts are most definitely worthwhile and there is a varied interest across forum members, so please don't stop. And the fact there are members now contributing to this thread should definitely give you the answer to the question. The time and effort you put in is certainly appreciated by me and apologies if a thanks hasn't always been forthcoming when it should have been

Many thanks Fingers for your response - and those of other forums members.

I was just wanting to check whether it was worth my while compiling the EMA monthly statistics - they'll be ready by the weekend. Tomorrow I'm attending the Manchester Airport Consultative Committee meeting which, allowing fir travel, will take up most of my day.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
