Join me as I fly on Scoot flight TR281 from Denpasar, Bali to Singapore onboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It’s a short-haul international route, but on a widebody aircraft — which makes the experience unique compared to most regional flights.
My experience:
• The seats were comfortable, with decent legroom in the 3-3-3 economy layout.
• I had preordered a vegetarian meal (pumpkin stew with multigrain) but sadly it wasn’t very tasty and felt overpriced at $15. The highlight of the tray was definitely the brownie brittle, which was outstanding.
• The lavatories were clean, though equipped only with basic amenities.
• Overall, it was a smooth flight with a gentle landing at Changi Airport Terminal 1.
Route: Denpasar (DPS) → Singapore (SIN)
Flight Number: TR281
Aircraft: Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (Reg: 9V-OFL)
