I thought since the A320 has been in the news today, and we already have forums about Worldwide airports and Worldwide airlines, it might be worth starting a thread about aircraft.
To avoid pointless mud-slinging of the Boeing vs Airbus competition, I would ask that "Boeing is rubbish" and "Airbus sucks" type posts, without a reasonable support case, are avoided. Where a manufacturer has made clear strategic mistakes in policy, design and/or development on a particular programme, it is reasonable to point this out, though it should be remembered that none (or very few) of us are insiders, and most of us can only speculate on the reasons behind what we consider to be such bad decisions.
Anyway, enough of the boring stuff. To get things moving:
1. What is your favourite passenger aircraft (in terms of your experience flying on it)? Least favourite?
2. What do you think is the most underrated aircraft? In your region? Over the whole World?
3. If you had the chance to start your own airline, which route would you fly? Which aircraft would you use?

FWIW, my replies would be:
1. A380
2. A330, never seems to have the recognition it deserves in Europe
3. CWL - IST, B737 Max 10 or maybe A321neo

1. What is your favourite passenger aircraft (in terms of your experience flying on it)? Least favourite?

I don't fly enough really to have a favourite although over the years I have had pleasant flights on the following aircraft: A320, Airbus A321 the A330 and A300, the Boeing 787, the Boeing 737-300, 737-800.

2. What do you think is the most underrated aircraft? In your region? Over the whole World?

Probably the A380. I think the aircraft still has huge untapped potential but this is unlikely to ever change now Airbus has stopped making the type.

3. If you had the chance to start your own airline, which route would you fly? Which aircraft would you use?

A choice of two for me with the A321XLR and the 737MAX with their short field performance with potential to serve destinations further afield.

E190 is my favourite love flying them.
Uniteds 777 from about 20 years ago my least favourite. Was cramped as hell.

For me probably the ATR series. Little workhorses that enable routes that necessarily wouldn't happen.

Cardiff to Edinburgh! 😆
Would have to use an A320.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
