Leeds Bradford Airport were delighted to celebrate the departure of the inaugural Ryanair flight to Agadir, marking an exciting new addition to Ryanair’s growing route network at LBA. The first flight, which departed today, took off to Agadir with a completely sold-out cabin, highlighting the strong demand from Yorkshire travellers for new and diverse leisure destinations.

Agadir, known for its year-round sunshine, beautiful beaches, and vibrant culture, is expected to be a popular choice for holidaymakers seeking both relaxation and adventure.

This milestone further strengthens the long-standing and successful partnership between Leeds Bradford Airport and Ryanair. The collaboration continues to deliver value and choice to passengers across the region, combining LBA’s commitment to excellent service with Ryanair’s extensive network and competitive fares.

Declan Maguire, Aviation Development Director of Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “Today marks a fantastic moment for Leeds Bradford Airport as we celebrate the launch of this exciting new route to Agadir with Ryanair. The fact that the inaugural flight has departed completely full demonstrates the strong appetite for new destinations from our passengers. Our partnership with Ryanair continues to go from strength to strength, enabling us to offer a wide range of great-value travel options to customers across Yorkshire.”

The new Agadir service joins a wide selection of destinations available from Leeds Bradford Airport through Ryanair, offering passengers convenient access to popular European and international locations at some of the most competitive prices in the market.

With continued investment in the airports regeneration project, strong airline partnerships, and growing passenger demand, the future looks bright for Leeds Bradford Airport.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
