This week, I fly one of British Airways’ most unusual European services, BA460 from London Heathrow to Madrid, but with a twist.

Instead of the usual short-haul Airbus, British Airways has scheduled a long-haul Boeing 777-200 on the route, complete with the airline’s flagship Club Suite business class seat. That means a fully enclosed suite, direct aisle access, and a true long-haul premium experience… on a flight of just over two hours.

But does the Club Suite really make a difference on a short European hop? And can British Airways deliver a premium experience worthy of the hype?

Taking this flight in October. It's good to see that they're doing it as its a good way to experience their long haul business class product without spending 1000s on a long haul flight.
