A new airline called http://www.flyvarsity.com/ is being launched with flights between Edinburgh and Oxford using an 18 seater Jetstream 31 aircraft. Flights commence on the 1st March.

Potentially a lucrative route given what lies at both ends.

One of the directors is said to be Martin Halstead who received national publiciity about five years ago in his attempts to set up an airline called Alpha One to fly routes from Oxford. The reason was that he was about 17 years old at that time.

Seems he has has some partners this time so could be successful.
