Aer Lingus Six Nations Dublin flights are now on sale between the 20th and 23rd of Feb. It looks to be daily at the moment. In previous years they’ve run 2/3 per day so there could be more to come. Having said that they’re using an A320. I think it was a ATR 72 last year.If the website is correct it look like Aer lingus will be operating their annual 6 nations flights to/from Dublin Thursday the 20th to Sunday the 23rd. Flights aren’t on sale yet, but the date picker on the results page reads “sold out” as opposed to no flights.
The route does seem to getting decent loads. Fingers crossed we'll see extra frequencies. As reported by Sean M on X it looks like Aer Lingus have taken a few routes off sale (not cardiff). I wonder and hope that they might add some double daily routes from CWL next summer.
I’m in the mindset like many others that surely it’s just a matter of time! The route does seem to getting decent loads. Fingers crossed we'll see extra frequencies.

Fingers crossedHaving altered the Friday flight to 0900, I wonder whether they may announce a second daily evening flight nearer the start of the summer timetable?
Certainly one to watch over the coming weeks.Having altered the Friday flight to 0900, I wonder whether they may announce a second daily evening flight nearer the start of the summer timetable?
Schedule looks like this at the momentAer Lingus Dublin flights for the six nations are out already. They typically don’t go on sale this far ahead, so if they sell well we may see more flights. Currently the flights on sale are for dates between March the 5th and the 8th
I think the problem is that there's not enough demand for onward connections to the USA to sustain them, they'd need a significant amount of point 2 point traffic to make the route viable and Ryanair will take up a significant amount of that and for the airports future it needs Ryanair more. There's also the possibility that it could dilute KLM as well.7 flights from EI is a good start for that rugby airlift. It would be good if they could turn it into a scheduled operation, to connect to the USA and Canada flights, especially with the USA clearance at Dublin.
I think it would complement the Dublin route well, but it could harm KLM as Jerry mentioned. A BHD double daily and 3/4 times a week to Cork on the other hand would be great to see.7 flights from EI is a good start for that rugby airlift.
