airline route quoting a321 routes starting 15th nov to faro with Belfast starting next day. ( one off is quoted)

The Friday flight to Belfast continues through winter with the a321.

A second daily mon-fri and Sunday service to Paris has now been added to the winter schedule
Makes you wonder why easyJet took so long to increase the CDG route frequency. It would seem from this that the summer experiment is paying off.

The schedule is very good for day trips from the Bristol end:

Lv BRS 0730 and return from CDG at 2130, arriving BRS 2150 (all times local)

No quite so good for day trips from the Paris end:

Lv CDG 1040, arriving BRS 1100 and return from BRS 1830 arriving CDG 2050 (all times local)

Still excellent news.

I been banging on for ages about Easyjet doing a extra rotation per day. Im happy to see this will be the case. As Localyokel said the summer experiment has worked and worked well and even better with the A321 NEO. Lets hope they keep at least 1 based in BRS on a permenant basis.

A quick look at Monday 25th November (which is part of the quietest week of Nov/Dec 19 for EZY), and it looks like 15x aircraft are required to operate the schedule:
5x A319s,
8x A320s,
2x A321s!

The 2x A321NEOs will operate AGP, FAO, GLA, CDG and BCN on this Monday.

Yet another great sign from EZY.

Does any one know if the A321 neo is down for doing pilot training at BRS.
On facebook it was said that crew training would start soon. I'd doubt they would do it at BRS, probably training them on flights from Gatwick and training flights at quieter airports.

Biarritz airport is closed 23 to 26 Aug due to the G7 meeting. Easyjet flight on the Friday of that period is not operating. So the passengers flying out on a Mon will have to return after a week.

So if you fancy a week in Biarritz the flight out on mon of that week will be light. But finding a hotel in destination will be difficult. I expect loads to be light for that reason.

Paris CDG

Even with the second daily rotation, some flights are still selling out, eg one of the two BRS-CDG tomorrow and one on Saturday, with the others on those days showing availability at £207 and £231 per sector respectively. There have been other examples of 'sold out' flights in recent weeks since easyJet doubled its frequency. The ticket prices going forward are also high, although not yet in the £200+ per sector category.

The costs of operating into CDG might be higher than on some other routes the airline operates from Bristol (I don't know) but they seem to be attracting a lot of punters at more than knock-down fare prices.

Stockholm still not on sale for the autumn and winter. Currently ends at the end of September. Surprising given the number of times I’ve noticed the flight has sold out plus the number of people on social media asking about the route

May not be a winter route for them but a summer city break route.

As with my comments with your recent post in the BRS forum with Ryanair stats, these too are fascinating and much appreciated. Thank you for your hard work in preparing them.

The one disappointing aspect of a great deal of positive news from easyJet as set out in detail by Severn.

Routes such as Copenhagen and Bilbao were begun by easyJet in the past only to be axed completely then brought back and are both now year-round. Milan MXP and Venice MP are other examples of former axed routes now year-round.

I'd be amazed if Stockholm did not return next summer and perhaps in the future it too will go year-round again.

Stockholm was year round apart from a one month hiatus in January of this year which makes it even stranger

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
