So checked in for my flight to Bristol from Edinburgh with Easyjet. I think i could've checked in at least a week before today as well. I used their app which was pretty easy and i also noticed that they do a video which explains there boarding process as well which is pretty good. Looking forward to the flight now to see what they are like!

A mate of mine uses EDI on a regular basis with Easy and he always has a good flight. The only delays he has had is weather related. When are you going and when you do be interested in what you think.

4th October so not too long. I'm looking forward to it. I had the thought of using there Madrid flight to return on when I went there theother month but the time was way too late. I'll be doing a video about the flight as well so when that's done I'll share it here.

You might be lucky and get a A 320 neo which they use on a regular basis on the EDI route.Enjoy the flight and hope its a good one.

Seville

I note that from 1 June Seville goes 3 x weekly (2 x weekly in summer 2018) which matches this winter's frequency.

I could never understand why Ryanair started a Seville route this winter at 2 x weekly after easyJet had already announced its own winter schedule. Five flights a week across both airlines this winter is surely too much and Ryanair might also have decided that with easyJet increasing its own frequency next summer that they are going to opt out.

I know there is the Airbus connection between Bristol and Seville but I wonder how many passengers that generates.

I doubt enough to sustain 5 weekly flights. I'd imagine that the target would be people going for city breaks in both directions. Will be interesting to see how the route gets on over the summer at that frequency.

I don't know why Ryanair joined the route anyway. I can't imagine there's enough volume other than to spoil easyJet's chances. Ryanair could have flown to Rome , Madrid or Berlin instead

Early days I know but 16 aircraft are now needed on Saturday mornings with the addition of Murcia international.

At the moment the route will be 3 x weekly next summer after 1 June just with easyJet (2 x weekly in the spring after the winter 3 x weekly). 3 x weekly is probably a good frequency for summer given the passenger figures so far this summer.

The route started on Sat 2 June this year at 2 x weekly (Tue and Sat) with A320 aircraft on both days. In June 3129 passengers were carried, average load 173.8, load factor 93.4% assuming the 320s all had 186 seats - if they were 180-seaters then obviously the load factors would be higher. July saw 3,064 passengers, average load 170.2, load factor 91.5%. Still awaiting BRS CAA stats for August.

easyJet is operating this winter at 3 x weekly before dropping to 2 x weekly next April and May before resuming at 3 x weekly in June. From that they must believe that there is more potential traffic in the winter than in the early spring. Even if they are correct in this Ryanair's 2 x weekly on top this winter is likely to harm both airlines' loads and yields.

I agree. There were surely other choices that would have stood two carriers.

Quick look for though August 2019. Nothing stands out. Almost carbon copy of last August.

As expected. Any growth in terms of added frequency or new routes would be likely to come later, as I know you would be aware.

Alicante flight returns to the airport. Why?
Ryanair's Sunday teatime flight to Alicante returned to BRS because of a disruptive passenger - see BRS Ryanair thread for details. Did easyJet's evening ALC also return on Sunday?

No just the RyanAir
I got the carrier wrong. Another one for the courts to deal with and hopefully a life time ban on FR and BRS.

See Virgin Atlantic and Easyjet going to use each other flight codes. About the only airport to benefit from the tie up will be Gatwick.

Looks like my aircraft will be OE-ICG an A320.
It was a bit late getting back to BRS, wasn't it Jerry?

I note that Jethros Fleet Listings no longer lists the easyJet aircraft with Austrian registrations. I understand why because his site is for UK and Ireland air fleets but it makes trying to establish details of the entire easyJet fleet very difficult.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
