Bristol Airport’s Local Community Fund donates record funding this year in 2023 The past 12 months has been a record year for Bristol Airport’s Local Community Fund with over £220,000 granted to support local community projects, making it the highest amount ever granted in a year. In total, 62 individual projects have benefited from the Fund with grants ranging from £500 to £15,000 in 2023. This includes grants for an outdoor play area for Backwell and Cleeve playing fields, solar panels for Uncle Paul's Chilli Charity, children's educational equipment for Winford Village Pre-School and a nature conservation educational scheme for Bristol Avon River Trust.
