Acople of biz jets today !
OE-FHK C510 which arrived around 1645.
N545EE EMB-550 Phenom which arrived at 1710.
Both probably on Multiflights apron.

Two interesting arrivals-
New Hawker 4000 LX-LOE(Fly Lux 41E) just landed and parking at Multiflight
followed by DA-62 G-GBAS(Flightcal 05). First DA-62 to land at LBA.

Diverted last night inbound from Alicante due to its planned arrival time of 23:35.

Delay most likely as a consequence of the French ATC issues.

Bet the was some disgruntled pax on that flight. First with the initial 1 hour 40 min delay due to foggies been on strike, then been told you destination airport LBA is closed so you been bussed home from LPL.

I think there must be more to it than that. LBA have stayed open until after midnight to accommodate late flights despite the airfield lighting works. I wouldn't have thought they would divert the Ryanair if it was due in at 2335.

Clearly not as the Ryanair AGP has just diverted to LPL. It was only running 45 mins late ETA 2300... Needs must regarding the runway closure it's just a shame the French aren't playing ball!

:wtf:

Perhaps before they were doing work that was less critical, such as taxiways and could allow later arrivals. I have certainly seen flights landing after midnight since the works started but they may now be having to take a stricter line. Just one of those things really if airfield works are to be undertaken. It happens at all airports at some time or other.

Oh whilst on the subject of the overnight runway closure.

Looks like we have lost Carpatair, Fokker 100, YR-FKB as its apparently inbound to Manchester as KRP2553 from Perpignan with the Catalan Dargon's onboard as the playing Leeds Rhino's at Headingley tomorrow night.
The reason its going to MAN is because it wouldn't have departed LBA before the runway closure was in enforced at 22:00 tomorrow night. The match doesn't kick-off until 20:00, so wont finish until at least 21:45..

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
