So based on some back of a fag pack workings, I make that a loss of circa 14 flights a week, which given the fact we have lost 2 a/c is pretty impressive.

Seem Flybe from Birmingham is switching to less routes with smaller flying times and higher densities! Hopefully gaining more pax and higher yields

As the Flybe CEO announced this week they are trimming flights to help return to profitability. They want more efficiencies, reliability and higher load factors. All makes sense in this day and age of uncertainty and over capacity.

Long term good news, but a short term blow to lose routes.

Will or can anyone ever make Toulouse work?

IMO, their biggest service problem is short-term reliability.
I couldn’t count the number of times I have been due to fly with them and the flight has been delayed/re-scheduled/cancelled/departing from another airport, even on busy routes like Edinburgh.
Even with it’s current problems, if there was a choice between FlyMayBe or Ryanair, I would choose the latter every time.

When we booked our flights to Amsterdam we actually paid slightly more to go with KLM as some in our group said that they had been hit with similar one too many times with Flybe.

Yet they are one of the most better airlines for on time performance.

Any guesses what Flybe are tweeting about?

Apparently something exciting and purple is happening at BHX tomorrow? Something to do with the control tower perhaps? Isn’t the Flybe logo on it now?

Maybe replacing one of the Monarch routes Rome maybe? Did Monarch do Nice?

Maybe revealing a new Birmingham themed livery on one of their planes?
That could be a possibility. They had 2 Q400s liveried up for Brussels Airlines and the contract ended I believe so they may livery one up for BHX.

Its the Flybe banner on the control tower, ive alreday seen it on other social media but wasnt allowed to show you as the big reveal is tomorrow. I think it looks good and shows FlyBE commitment to BHX. We need this sort of stability at the moment from airlines at BHX, especially at the moment. An airline putting there logo on part of our crown jewels isnt an airline that is going to quit BHX any time soon. So i welcome this news.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
