Fantastic Matt. I think I've mentioned before that BHX could 'inherit' your great work and put it on their site as a download (with due recognition).

yes I might well email the airport, and see what they say!! I can't understand why they can't produce a timetable themselves in pdf format, that people could download!

I agree Matt. Keep life simple. We get bogged down in drop down boxes and hyperlinks. I am all for the old ways. Great piece of work and you deserve a very positive response from the airport.

Please find attached the Winter Charter Timetable.

as usual, subject to change, especially the ski flights and the easter/april flights are always subject to confirmation!

I have one query, saturday ski flights are showing a Turin flight in the morning, anyone know which airline is operating it? I'm guess its either FlyBe or maybe Titan, as they seem to base an aircraft at BHX on Saturday to do an afternoon Chambery flight?

Tour operators are moving pax to Jet2 and Flybe scheduled flights and the Austrian Innsbruck charter on Saturday as they lost seats on the Monarch Turin & Salzburg and there is no Germania to CMF. I can't see anything extra operating to Turin or Chambery etc on Saturday at the moment apart from half term, but I'll keep checking

Wikipedia (I know not the greatest) has Turin listed as a Flybe destination, the source below is a link to some Facebook post which I cannot access?

As well as probably losing the Flybe Turin ski charter that has operated for the past few years, there is no Lleida ski charter on Sunday. I think East Midlands has pinched the Lleida flight with Jet2 operating it

Many thanks for your work Matt, it's very useful.

The Thursday Thomas Cook Malta (MT1412/13) is bookable as part of a holiday and listed in the timetable but not available as flight only?

If my numbers are correct during the S18 peak period TUi will have 116 flights per week to 48 destinations, Jet2 will have 118 flights per week to 32 destinations.

It will be interesting to see the comparison a few years from now.

Are you sure about Jet2 Ray?
Not sure by flights if you mean departures or arrivals and departures but the latter
would only equate to less than 17 movements a day over 7 days?

The Thomas Cook Thursday Malta is showing in OAG and Amadeus timetables as an A320 (06:00-10:15~11:15-13:40)

Yep its a strange one, Malta was put on sale, then a few months later was not bookable as a flight only on Thomas Cook, or showing on google flights, yet it is as Ray says bookable on Thomas Cook as a holiday package, so it looks at though it must be operating and completes the Thomas Cook schedule for summer.

Thanks Ray. Must admit for some reason i thought it would be more,it's hard to keep up with them.
Thinking about it now that would be similar to Monarch last year. Not bad for 2nd Summer.
How many will be based?
Drifting off into a Jet2 discussion, but I believe that they will have 8 aircraft based for summer 2018. This comprises of 7 Jet2 B737-800 and a leased Smartlynx A321.
That's less than MON summer 2017, who I think had 10 or 11 aircraft based. But still a great commitment from Jet2, doubling their BHX based fleet over last summer.

Kevin

I think Jet2 still have quite a way to go to match Monarch's capacity as they tend to only do 2 rotations a day while Monarch would do up to 3 during summer season as well as having 2/3 extra aircraft.
Not complaining about Jet2s commitment though.

As we are only 4 weeks away from the Summer schedules starting, I have compiled a provision timetable showing flights by all scheduled airlines, excluding Jet2, Flybe and Ryanair (as Flybe and Ryanair often make last minute changes!)

Compared to last summer, the majority of carriers have stagnated at Birmingham, apart from Primara and VLM, theres not much new.

Air France, downgrade to a Hop! E190 during the peak holiday shut down season, otherwise most flights are on the A319/320

BMI Regional are only showing Graz, 4 flight a week, I don’t think this service is going to survive much longer somehow!

Brussels Airlines are mainly A319 3 times a day, apart from August when we see a few Cityjet Sukhoi SuperJet SSJ100 instead.

CSA are daily peak summer, otherwise 6 flights a week, all at different times, all showing A319s

Easyjet continue with Geneva 3 times a week, and Belfast is not showing many reductions peak season this time!

Eurowings only operate weekend flights on the Dash 8’s, weekdays are A319/320’s

SAS introduce the twice a week Stockholm, both on 737’s, with Copenhagen now showing A321’s on Wednesday.Thursday, the Saturday flight has been dropped, and usual peak season downgrades to CR9s

Swiss finally retired the Fokker 100, last flight showing May 7th, the majority of flights will now be E90’s, with some CS1 and CS3’s.

Vueling only Barcelona, up to 6 times a week, and Blueair have an extra Saturday Larnaca,

The remaining airlines are largely un-changed from last summer, and of course no Aegean, Air Transat, Cobalt, Icelandair, Monarch, Norwegian, and United

As usual all flights are subject to change, and LH/EW/KL/AF/LX equipment change regularly!!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
