Cello Aviation is a market leading supplier of VIP and airline support aviation in the UK, holding a UK Civil Aviation Authority Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Type A Operating Licence for worldwide operations. It has an enviable reputation for service, quality and reliability.

Cello is expanding the scope of its operations with the acquisition of two Boeing 737 aircraft suitable for inclusive tour (IT) flying, in addition to the Avro RJ100 recently received.

Charter Flight Centre is one of the oldest remaining ATOL seat only operators and charter flight consolidators in the UK. Its existing sales operations and retail websites (Charterflights.co.uk and Ski-flights.com) are being assimilated into Cello Aviation with an immediate focus on marketing the seat capacity of the additional Boeing737 aircraft.

Regarding Cello Aviation, I read recently elsewhere that BHX have given them 6 months notice to vacate their premises.
I'm not sure how accurate this is, but if so I assume it's down to developments on the old Elmdon side of the airfield.

Cello have been given 6 months to vacate hangar 2 as it is coming down.
The 737 charters are at Gatwick

Didn't know hanger two was to be demolished Ian ,do you know the whole plan if you are able to divulge?

Apart from the original terminal not much left then from my first visits in the 1960's unless you count the car park in front of the terminal and the hotel (buccaneer ) at the entrance.

Tbh ive not seen one of there aircraft at BHX for a long time. They always used to have one of the old Bae146 or the 737 parked up on the Elmdon apron.

That is sad news. Having seen them involved in some high-profile charters i, wrongly, believed that they had created a worthwhile niche market based here at BHX and were proving successful.

But for all those who hanker for new airlines and routes from here in the Midlands, maybe this just identifies how fragile and nervous the airline industry is at the moment with the pathway strewn with casualities. And with uncertainties posed by Brexil, how fragile it may be for some time to come....

More bad news on the airline front the worry is that there are a few more airlines in serious danger of going the same way.

G-MISG a 733 was flown to Cardiff Aviation in St Athan yesterday and apparently their 2nd aircraft was flown to Cranfield.
