Well It's been a while since I posted but after a busy few months , I'll be using Birmingham for the 2nd time to Gran Canaria tomorrow ... this time with TUI, had to be specific dates due to commitments when returning ( Wales v Denmark on the Friday ) Also worked out cheaper than Jet2 last year ... I'll be sure to write a review of the experience when I return which I'm sure will be a positive one once again :)

Have a great flight!

the promise of Mythos and Souvlaki

Once it calls it is impossible to ignore (y)

I'm still looking for somewhere for next summer but am really struggling. There seems to be much less choice of hotels available when compared to this year and two bedroom apartments are very hard to come by, the one bed apartments with sleeping in the lounge look terribly uncomfortable. We were hoping for Greece or Cyprus but may end up somewhere in Spain again.

I’d have loved to have gone back to Italy again but we just fancied a beach holiday this time. Got to make the most of being able to get away out of school holidays now.

It's eye watering but sadly no choice :(

We're going to Puerto Mogan for a week during the May half term. First time there so very much looking forward to it :)

Irish Tavern around the marina just don't let the wife discover the home made cheesecake or the pink gins, deadly stuff.

Have a fun time Ray, I went there 2 years ago during my stay at Playa de Amadores. A tip I would give is that Mogan is usually hotter than other parts of the island, but it's a beautiful place to explore and is very relaxing.

Found out yesterday that our flight to Malta to pick up a cruise in June is with TCX the bad news is that its a 0600 departure.
Also looking for a cheapo flight to Murcia or Alicante to visit the brother in law in torrevieja next month.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
