Ryanair Sun B737-800 SP-RSV is coming in for its first visit tonight as RYR7XZ from Kraków. It's been in before with its original Irish registration but can't look this up as 'BH' is on holiday in Torquay where the air is more breathable than South Yorkshire!

Looks like Jet2 are operating a charter flight out to Krakow tomorrow as we have an "EXS6764" due out at 07:00. Its most likely a day trip being organised for school kids to visit Auschwiz Birkenau State Museum as they learn about the Holocaust during WW2.
When I was leaving Kraków there was a Jet2 757 on a remote stand and it was probably there for the same reason. This was before the route commenced with Jet2 from LBA.

Have to say I visited Auschwitz two years ago and it was the most moving and emotional place I have ever visited in all my life.
I was glad to see how many visitors were school children and it was obvious the effect it had on them.
It was not until this visit that I found out that the Pathe news reel showing the liberation of the camp was filmed 3 months after the Russian army entered, you could see footage taken on day one of liberation, I hope not shown to the school children, the pictures are truly awful, nothing like those shown on the Pathe news which were bad enough.

Ryanair Sun B737-800 SP-RSA is inbound from Warsaw Modlin as RYR936R to make its first visit, but the aircraft has visited before in its previous life of EI-FEE.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
