Awesome photo. At first glance I thought it was somewhere in America. Any idea where its taken from?
From looking at the picture, it seems to be overlooking the Northbound M6 at Junction 3A (Coleshill Interchange). It is most likely drone footage taken from the fields north of the interchange, can't see any towers or high points nearby.
 
On my iPad I counted seven cranes (any more?) indicating that there is still lots of building activity in the CBD.

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
