When Jet2 base A321neo, well the second one is still a way off and I am guessing end of June before in service so running probably 2 months late and I think only 3 this year

Let’s be honest here.Turkmenistan airlines weren’t going to come here except only for the coronation.I think they aren’t going to bother coming back bhx.

Blue air while they are banned from flying in Europe. There’s no chance of them flying to bhx until approval of permission to fly its wings.

Pia no chance of them coming until they get European permission and uk permission.Except they do offer flights to bhx via.Doha,Dubai,Istanbul,Antalya,Delhi,Amritsar and Jeddah. That’s probably why they aren’t flying due to high population at bhx.

Wizz air.Disappointed they haven’t expanded their fleet and routes but have increased their flights to it’s known destinations

Turkmenistan - Good chance they will be back in 2023
Blue Air - Have gone bust
PIA - Not allowed to fly to Europe but hopefully they will resume similar to last summer with a third party.
Wizz - Do very well on their Eastern European routes from BHX but I think we dodged a bullet them not setting up a BHX bases (just ask Cardiff)

Heard something about Turkmenistan coming back this summer

Turkmenistan are now back at Delhi with Amritsar 'likely to resume end of 2023'. There have been rumours of them coming back to Birmingham around July but there were similar rumours last year and obviously we saw nothing.

Purely rumours at the moment, but SeanM1997 site is hinting at new slot applications for Ethiopian, Play and Air India, with BHX in with a chance along with other major UK airports.
One to watch!.

Don’t think Ethiopian has any interest in BHX, and certainly PLAY doesn’t
Interesting that the LH group are cutting services or just treading water from BHX more than any other UK Airport.

Also apparently the FRA capacity is the same as it was 6 years ago..

PLAY will only come in if they get a very cheap long term deal from BHX I suspect.

I believe from previous reports PLAY did have slots but then took them out and went for MAN

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
