We had a Lufthansa the other night from LGW to BHX A320 in Star Alliance Livery first time I've known a non UK Airline do a presumably Empty flight from LGW to BHX
It would be good if you could provide a registration or flight number, as this would make it searchable on FR24.

[EDIT] - I found it on IAN's site. It was Thu 8/6/23. LH558 FRA - BHX was cancelled. D-AIZH (LH9881) positioned in from LGW at 19:21. It then operated LH959 on 9/6/23, departing at 06:23. I was able to piece all of that together from FR24, once I had found the registration.

Strange move by LH as the FRA to BHX was cancelled as was LGW to FRA

Alba Star 738 EC-NLK due in this evening from Cork, 19.40E.
This aircraft has been incredibly busy the last few days, looking at FR24 history.

Getjet B737-800 (LY-DUE, TOM983P) currently inbound BHX from Riga(RIX). Due 01:16. It will then operate BHX - DLM as TOM746 at 18:10.

Getjet B737-800 (LY-UNO, TOM4DJ) arrived from PFO at 04:14 (Monday) and hasn't operated since. Has it 'gone sick' and is LY-DUE a replacement?

Due out to Bucharest (OTP), as LAV1143 at 08:00. It then flies OTP -LGW, so appears to have positioned into BHX to Operate the OTP flight.

The Air Horizon 737-400 is down as a night stopper departing to Malta tomorrow afternoon and on the subject of 737s a 2Excel 737 arrived this afternoon from Stansted and a West Atlantic 737 is due in later today from Cambridge so a few different of the type around today besides the regular schedule operators 😀

I'm guessing the Air Horizont is flying out the England football squad tomorrow. They have been gathering at St George's Park this week.

To anyone in the know, did an SAS heli just arrive/overfly the airport from the east? Was circling M6 J3 so i’m assuming was waiting to be allowed to transition or make its approach, if not, curious as to where it went😄

FR24 showing a JetMagic B752 9H-AVM in from Zurich at 15:49 departing just after midnight to Brussels.

The 3rd Max did indeed arrive and is down to depart to Warsaw at 08:20 good to see Ryanair up to our full quota of six finally.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
