There’s very much an anti competitive attitude from the Aussie Government . They have just refused QR additional slots into Australia , because it “ would be detrimental to Qantas” ,even though Qantas doesnt operate to any Middle East destinations let alone Doha .. As a Brummie living in Australia I would love an alternative operator to fly me back to the UK , but I’m not holding my breath .Perhaps they will as they expand further.
Increased frequency is a little too early to do, most likley it will become an all 78X route or the 777s step in.It appears Saudi will continue with more 787-10 substitutions from the previously dates adding in Ocober 15th and 26th and then every Tuesday from November credit to jon01 posting elsewhere who has been spot on so far.
At this rate all 787-10 or increased frequency lies down the line![]()
I dont care what date it is a 100% LF is unbelievable !But it’s also the end of the six weeks summer holidays.
Credit where credit is due Rich, not even well established routes get 100% load factor. Even in high season. But it’s also the end of the six weeks summer holidays.
When is Hajj, I assume Saudia would increase the frequency, as I remember learning all Muslim's have to do it once in thier life.
