It appears the above was a technical diversion and G-JZBR was bought into use as a replacement and left BHX for AYT at 20:56

Looking at the AMS departures on FR24, there are numerous cancellations. Looking at Windy.com and using the fast forward feature, it looks like the storm could hit AMS badly.

Aurigny GR704 from Guernsey and Blue Islands SI2264 from Jersey are both cancelled tomorrow. Hardly surprising, having seen the news footage tonight. It's probable that many more flights will be cancelled.

Getting on the ground is only one aspect. Strong winds can inhibit the use of steps and other ground ops in some cases.

If the wind does pick up later looks like straight down the runways.
