Discussions relating to Liverpool Airport
I read something mentioned in the Liverpool Echo, of a service from Liverpool to Dublin having an emergency while landing. Everyone left the aircraft safely, this would have been yesterday evening. The aircraft in question was EI DHH operating FR 5542, had a nose wheel incident. Operations out of Dublin were delayed, with some damage to the runway surface. The aircraft has been replace with EI IFP , 737 max

I believe it refers to this -

Maybe an extra based aircraft for Summer 2024?
That will depend on Boeing delivering B737-MAX's, which are currently on hold. Ryanair have actually been cutting services due to aircraft shortages, so I can't see any increases at bases until a good number of MAX's have been delivered.

Ryanair lauching a new route to Rovaniemi . Twice a week from end of Oct . As per SeanM. Cant say im overly excited by this route. Could think of far more useful links.

Ryanair are operating some very late flights to Dublin this winter. Have noticed Monday departures at 00.20. This could be the latest ( or earliest ) LPL - DUB schedule ever. I dont recall anything this late to Dublin before.

Working the aircraft hard, may be due to late deliveries of new aircraft. Is it a return or a Dublin based aircraft, I have noticed a lot of very late Dublin flights from MAN over the weekend but are Dublin based aircraft I hope as wouldn`t want to get back at 02.00ish specially if they are late after a long day

Not for me either, a bit late for getting home. Easyjet are having some much later arrivals this summer too. Early hours. I dont think the Ryanair late Dublin service is a Liverpool based aircraft.

This route began today. Im not sure its the most useful service for the city, but I guess Ryanair know what they are doing.

obviously great to see a new route starting to such a unique destination, ryanair have obviously been in the business for years and will start a new route the second they see demand.

even still, I doubt the load factor for this flight will be good so i predict this route may not last longer than 2 years.

Personally a route like Lisbon or some Italian destinations would be more useful

I'm surprised it's starting so early as isn't it a ski, northern lights and santa route?

Yes, maybe Ryanair know more !
I'm surprised that they are doing it as I'd have thought it would be something more for Jet2 and TUI and even Easyjet holidays. It would be interesting to know if they launched other routes from there.

Ryanair to operate 3 routes from Liverpool next summer, 1 exclusive to them.

Corfu (starts 31 March 2024)
Newquay-Cornwall *Exclusive* (starts 1 April 2024)
Paphos (starts 4 April 2024)

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
