I’ve noticed Madrid is going down to 2x weekly April-July then back up to 3x weekly from August onwards. This was originally showing as 4x weekly from April. Does anyone know why? Aircraft shortage or lack of demand?

Hoping there will be more supply to Madrid soon (come on IB/EZY!)

I believe a few flights have been cut by Ryanair between April-July, due to aircraft shortages, presumably connected to delivery delays of new 737 Max aircraft

4 weekly flights for both destinations
Morocco flights up to 16 across three based airlines from bhx

Wow ... Ryanair really going for Morocco. Defo the hot bed for fights starting with Jet2 launching it, easyJet holidays/easyJet airlines confirming they plan to double their presence ... plus TUI. Only one really looser - TUi sadly as I don't think they can fight the other 3.

So with todays new routes to Morocco being released an the other routes released last week, thought i would update the current Ryanair Summer Schedule out of BHX.

6 routes which had previously seen increased capacity being proposed for summer has had some frequencies cut but even with those cuts, growth looks significant into Summer 24 with rumours there could be more routes to come to the likes of BFS/NAP/NTE and others so one to watch...

But as we currently stand, based on the August Peak Week W/C 05 Aug 24:

Agadir and Marrakesh have now been added to the system

If my flight schedule for the based a/c are correct, the aircraft are going to work very hard this summer with some very nasty 4 sectors for crew to operate including the likes of CFU-BVA which is already over 11 hour day before any delays or check out time included

Changes noticed from august 2024

Malaga:10>11

Alicante 11>13

Paris Beauvais 4>7

Krakow 4>5

Warsaw modlin now in the system as 3 weekly .Not bookable

I think both Ryanair and EasyJet are being affected by late deliveries of aircraft, hence some of their newly announced routes don't get fully up to speed until mid summer.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
