I can't see Antalya being 1 weekly for an airport like Bristol.

Nor it not operating in May and June

Tui are having to compete against Jet2 and easyJet holidays. Both to my mind provide a better product, you don’t have to pay extra to take a suitcase for your holiday, prices tend to be better as a generalisation. Last year we went to Kefalonia with EasyJet holidays, included flights , transfers and a suitcase each. Best price was with them. This year we’re going with Jet2 to Skiathos, better prices and service with them. Tui seem to be doing better at airports without this competition and this may to some extent explain a reduced provisional service next year. Jet2 and EasyJet continue to expand at Bristol and in my view Tui have somewhat stagnated and even retreated over the last year.

And, if their last two summer seasons at BHX are anything to go by, Jet2 and easyjet provide a more reliable service. Such a shame to see Tui in this position, when they were once such a great airline - Britannia Airways.

Impressive list. How does that compare to S24?

It looks a very good list - I have ssh down as two weekly though. Incidentally probably an error but there appears to be a winter Florida flight on Thursdays this winter. When clicked on it says error but could be something to keep an eye on - not sure if Orlando is an all year round destination though

The Florida flight doesn't come up on the flight website but on the holiday website it comes up as via Amsterdam with KLM.

Looks like some cutbacks for summer 25 - santorini gone and reductions in services to Turkey, Heraklion and Kos. Possible reduction in fleet based too maybe. Tui seem to be retracting at Brs

Squeezed by Jet2 and Easyjet holidays I'd expect.

What is strange is the routes that are sometimes reduced are the ones where competition is weaker or non existent - Orlando , Cancun , santorini. But those where I would have thought they would have dropped - Marrakech for example ( easyjet and Ryanair ) they are still planning twice weekly.

That is interesting.
It could be that demand for some of the more niche routes has weakened and also having so much choice for elsewhere with other airlines might have helped dilute it even more.
I think we also must remember that the economy still isn't great and I'd expect that packages for the more popular routes are cheaper so maybe a more preferred option for many who want a holiday and possibly the situation in Israel and Palestine might also be putting people off from travelling to the Eastern Mediterranean.

TUI - Summer 2025
Slightly unfair to see the decreases but not share the increases....

Looks like the TUI base at BRS in summer 2025 will remain 6x aircraft, (the same as 2024). The schedule for 2025 is showing 67x TUI departures per week (down from 71x in 2024) and 2x departures to Turkey with an unknown carrier (probably Freebird).
There are also 5x weekly flights per week that operate a W-pattern to another base (BRS-CFU-CWL-CFU-BRS for example) which normally takes an aircraft the entire day to complete. This is up from 3x weekly in 2024.

Decreases (-10)
BVC (-1)
dropped
LCA (-1) from 3x to 2x
HER (-2) from 4x to 2x
JTR (-1) dropped
KGS (-1) from 4x to 3x

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
