What is happening on 27/10
I'd expect that its a possible 4th daily for Manchester, if i remember correctly Qatar has gone 4 daily on some days so they might want to match that.
As has been alluded to above it is indeed a 4th daily service (late evening) from this date.

Full details should be announced soon.

EK20 (the evening departure) moves to a 3 class A380 from a 2 class on 2nd June 2026. That’s quite a drop in capacity.
Maybe it’s just a seasonal capacity cut after May half term ends.
Maybe it’s to allow the 2 class fleet to have some slack whilst they go through the refurbishment program.
Maybe it dovetails with the introduction of a 4th daily flight.
Who knows……

That explains why MAN looks to be going 5 daily from end of March with an A350 as well as per posts on SSC

Loosely spealing, they could be operating 5 flights with the capacity of 4 A380s, 2 x 298 - 99 =497 seats added each way. with the bonus of not having to truck as much cargo as at present.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
