Sun Express

Sun Express re-start Leeds - Antalya route a week early next year during the IATA Winter season seen as Easter falls in early April 2026. So adding the Extra October-November end of summer flights and new Christmas & New Years flights Sun Express will operate up to 17+ flights, which they didn't do last winter.

Upon checking the Sun Express website, still showing 4 x weekly LBA AYT. Am I missing something?

A friend of mine used AYT when flying from thailand to LBA, bangkok to antalya with turkish airlines then sunexpress from antalya to leeds/bradford.

Yes i just asked him again, was bangkok-istanbul-antalya-leeds/bradford. Probably this route as only sunexpress fly to LBA due to no turkish airlines at lba, only MAN!

5th weekly summer 2026 Saturday flight commences July 25th and runs until September 12th as follows

SXS560 = AYT 08:40 – LBA 11:30 / SXS561 = LBA 13:00 – AYT 19:25

Interesting one, Sun Express new EMA route, only looks to operate for 3 weeks now with no flights on sale for the rest of summer, no doubt linked to the middle east conflict / a reduction in bookings. Looking at LBA all looks ok and the same. Hopefully bookings/loads are good.

I would imagine with our sunexpress flights operating for a few years now the airline has a regular pax client base out of LBA.

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.

15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
