A321Neo G-SUND due in this evening operating the LS268 CDG-LBA after B733 G-GDFK has gone tech in Paris due 22:50
Just seen from FR that Jet2 B733 G-GDFM has completed 3 test flights over the North Sea for three consecutive days, 4/5/6 August.
It keeps failing its test flights so keeps doing them until it passes and can go back into service

Their other aircraft is D-ANNE!

Empty going out probably so able to depart happily despite it's tuned down engines. Nice to see. Shame we won't!
It’s down to do LBA-MAH tomorrow so might have to stretch its legs a bit, unless they get the passengers to pedal assist on take off!

Aer Lingus ATR72 G-CMMK returned to service on Sunday afternoon, and this morning appeared on the early morning Belfast rotation, making her first visit in *checks notes* 598 days, having last visited on 17/12/2024
Is that the one that suffered hard landing damage during a storm at Belfast City?

G-GDFM has just taken off (16.52) as EXS050B on what looks like its fourth test flight. Looks like it could be heading out over the North Sea. Hopefully it’s sorted now.

FO seemed to be the troublesome one last year but perhaps FM this year. The relevance of that comment is aren't FK and FL the ones due to be retired this year? If so that doesn't bode well for 2027!
And isn't another common factor that both had recently been in for major C checks prior to the season starting?

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
