See from September adults flying with children under 12 must book an allocated seat allocation http://www.rte.ie/news/business/2016/0729/805729-ryanair-seating-policy/
Policy is too speed up loading desparately needed on the last few Ryanair flights we have taken.

I would have thought that they could have solved this a different way. Program the computer that allocates seats "randomly" to seat people with children, on the same booking, together. It will not be possible all the time but it may not be possible to pay for seats together if you check in nearer the day of travel.
I can I be really radical and suggest airlines allocate all seats (as they used to). ;)

But then that means Ryanair don't get to charge you extra for allocating the seat!:sneaky:

If you happen to be in Leeds City Centre tomorrow it might be worth looking out for the guys from Leeds/Bradford Airport, As they are giving away free flights due to celebrating Ryanair 20th anniversary at the airport.

Hi guys. Ryanair today finally released its full Leeds/Bradford Summer 2017 schedule and it looks very impressive but still only utilizing 3x based Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The 4th has never materialized. Throughout the season the schedule on some routes sees several chops and changes been made over the summer along with added extras services on some routes in peak summer. I wont break down the full schedule just yet as it i'll take some time to compile.

So to start of with here's what the busiest month of the year August 2017 will look like. = 92 weekly departures.

Anyone know why the FR2333 from Krakow diverted to East Midlands today? According to FR24 it got to the Doncaster area at 20,000ft before turning south to EMA.

Apparently the flightdeck lit up like a Christmas Tree.. Sorry I know the info is a tad late! A/c was brought in from Dublin I believe in the end!

According to the Ryanair website no flights are showing on the LBA-Vilnius route for July and August 2017. Not sure if this was noted elsewhere or is a temporary bug but if it is true could it be a sign that other routes are being prioritised over it during the peak summer holiday season? The route is still on sale September 2017 - March 2018 though so hopefully not too much to worry about.

Vilnius is closed in July and August for runway work. Wizz will temporarily shift operations to Kaunas, but Ryanair have opted to suspend all flights at Vilnius during this period.

  • 975*“on-site” jobs p.a.
Ryanair will continue to connect the Leeds city region with major European cities on high frequency, low fare services including Dublin (2 daily), as well as a wide range of winter sun routes, on the lowest fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for Yorkshire business and leisure customers.

Ryanair’s Leeds Bradford Airport summer 2017 schedule is attracting record bookings, with more frequencies to sun destinations for summer family holidays, including 5 new routes to Bratislava (2 wkly), Girona (2 wkly), Gran Canaria (2 wkly), Vilnius (2 wkly) and Warsaw Modlin (2 wkly) and an even better customer experience, as Ryanair continues to roll out its “Always Getting Better” improvements.

In Leeds, Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:

“We are pleased to launch our 2017 Leeds Bradford Airport winter schedule, our biggest ever, which includes 2 new routes to Wroclaw and Murcia and 17 routes in total, which will deliver 1.3mcustomers p.a. and support 975* jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport. We are also pleased to report record bookings on our Leeds Bradford summer 2017 schedule and customers can look forward to even lower fares so there’s never been a better time to book a low fare flight on Ryanair. We urge all customers who wish to book their holidays to do so now on the Ryanair.com website or mobile app, where they can avail of the lowest fare air travel to and from Leeds Bradford.

To celebrate the launch of our Leeds Bradford winter 2017 schedule we are releasing seats for sale across our European network from just £9.99, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday (16 Feb). Aviation Development Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, Tony Hallwood, said:

“Leeds Bradford Airport welcomes the continued growth of Ryanair capacity and a widening of the airline's route network for Winter 2017. The introduction of Wroclaw, the largest city in Western Poland, is the airport’s fourth Polish route and will be welcomed by both business and leisure travellers. Murcia will provide easy access to the Costa Calida being conveniently close to La Manga, Cartegena and to Torrevieja, favoured by overseas property owners.”

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
