Record number of journeys for Bristol Airport Flyer bus service in 2024 For the first time ever the A1 bus service to Bristol Airport carried more than 1 million passengers. Combined with the Weston-super-Mare A3, this saw 1.3 million Flyer journeys in 2024, ensuring customers could travel to reconnect with family and friends and take holidays and business trips in a more sustainable way. Arriva doubles Airport bus connection with Liverpool South Parkway and City Centre Arriva have increased the frequency of their 86A bus service which operates between Liverpool City Centre and Liverpool John Lennon Airport, with a service now operating every 7-8 minutes, doubling the number of services on the route. Record Number of Passengers Using A1 Airport Flyer and A3 Weston Flyer More than 100,000 people have used Bristol Airport’s bus services in a month for the first time. In June, close to 110,000 passengers travelled on the A1 Airport Flyer, which links the Airport with Bristol city centre and Temple Meads, and the A3 Weston Flyer, which links with Weston-super-Mare and other local communities.
