Does anyone know the result of the Manor Farm planning application, to build aviation related companies on Legal and General land near the airport. I have tried to find the result on the Vale of Glamorgan website but have been unsuccessful.

No decision has been made yet.

Looking at the news David TC Davies has been appointed secretary of state for Wales yesterday, I can't help but remember when as chair of the Wales affairs committee, he unequivocally supported devolution of APD to Wales. Calling it "good for all of wales" and that the Welsh office "exists to serve the people of Wales, not Bristol".
Could be interesting to see, assuming he lasts long enough in post for it to be seen to.

I'd be very shocked if it APD was devolved even with a Welsh Secretary that is in favour of it. I doubt the Treasury is in favour and the current last lot of UK governments haven't been devolution friendly so are unlikely to devolve any more new powers to the Welsh government and considering the current Welsh government i wouldn't be surprised if in private they're probably happy that APD isn't devolved as it would give them a dilemna with the climate change emergency and all that and i don't expect a UK Labour government to devolve it either.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
