Looks like Heraklion will be 2 weekly in 2025 with an extra flight on Thursdays

And that'll be extended in October as well

Sharm el Sheikh 1 weekly
Lanzarote 2 weekly
Malaga 1 weekly
Alicante 2 weekly

Palma de Mallorca 1 weekly (in April 2025)
Only 1 Barbados departure on 23/3/25
So TUI will offer at least 10 weekly departures rising to 13 in April.

Portugal now appears as an option from Cardiff on the TUI website however it doesn’t return any results at the moment. Same goes for the other FR destinations.

It was like that before and then went away, hopefully we'll see some actual packages.

Apparently TUI will be flying to Cancun from CWL in March/April 2026 - according to a TUI Facebook post that was shared on the CWL group.

I've seen that posted as well definitely would be good news if it turns out to be true. It looks like its part of winter 2025/26 release on 18th July.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself but it would also be great if in 2026 we saw a 2nd based aircraft in April and a 4th from May!

More confirmation of the Cancun flights. It's a pity Kittila isn't included as well
"A limited run of fortnightly flights from Newcastle and Cardiff to Cancun will operate in March and April 2026, while for winter 2025, a flight from Newcastle to Kittila in Lapland will also operate."

TUI Winter 2025/26 will be 9 weekly departures and 5 destinations between November and February increasing to 12 weekly departures and 7 destinations by April
Lanzarote 2 weekly Sunday & Thursday
Malaga 1 weekly Monday
Alicante 2 weekly Tuesday & Saturday
Gran Canaris 1 weekly Saturday
Tenerife 3 weekly Monday, Tuesday & Friday
Palma de Mallorca 1 weekly Tuesday (from 31/3/26, 2 weekly from 21/4/26)
Enfidha 1 weekly Friday (from 6/2/26)
Paphos 1 weekly Wednesday (from 25/2/26)
Barbados 5/2/26 & 22/3/26
Cancun 23/3/26 & 6/4/26

Malaga will see a big drop in passengers with TUI at one flight a week, and no Vueling and Ryanair as yet, nice to see Cancun there , even if its only two flights.

Tui will be offering Chambery as a destination this winter with direct flights. I’m not sure how many yet, but the 21st and 28th of December 2024 show as direct flights.

Example search: https://www.crystalski.co.uk/ski-holidays/packages?airports[]=CWL&units[]=&when=20-12-2024&until=&choiceSearch=false&flexibility=true&monthSearch=false&flexibleDays=1&flexibleMonths=&noOfAdults=2&noOfChildren=0&childrenAge=&duration=7115&searchRequestType=ins&searchType=SKI&sp=true&multiSelect=true&room=&isVilla=false&reqType=SKI&sortBy=

Edit:
Looks like a weekly Sunday flights from 21/12/2024 to the 15/03/2025 - if I’ve read that correctly.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
