I’ve noticed there still no summer CWL to ORY on sale. The same applies to EMA and SOU. The last day they’re on sale is March 30th which I feel they’re missing a big sales opportunity with the Easter school holidays running into the first week of April. Has anyone heard if there’s doubt these routes will continue given the less than ideal pax numbers?
I think it depends on Air France as the slots are theirs and if I remember correctly they were withdrawing from Orly.

Probably to be expected but it's been posted elsewhere that Paris Orly will end on 18th March, East Midlands will as well.

So the Orly route is suppose to be back tomorrow. Except it’s not as the flight is showing as cancelled. Maybe try another day! Eastern in my opinion have been a bit haphazard on this route which I suspect is one reason why the numbers have been poor.

I think there is a need for a Paris route, but who would be best fitting to pick it up?

According to SeanM1997 on X:

T3 are to move their EMA & SOU routes to CDG from 31 March

A kick in the teeth for CWL again!

Yep that is a bit isn't it but maybe CWL will be announced later? Can only hope.

Yep i'd be surprised if we see it back tbh.
I think if they were serious about continuing it they wouldn’t be chopping it from Orly and keep it going until a slot at CDG becomes available. Loads were poor, but the route hardly got off to a good start with a load of cancellations. I also feel a base rate of £89 wasn’t the most attractive.

The slots aren't theirs to be fair, they're Air France's.

If Airport Mgt can attract the right carrier with better times and attractive prices it must be workable.

Whilst I am sure it is a disappointment for you CWL supporters, I am sure it is just as much a reflection on Eastern themselves - specifically their constant chopping and changing. Perhaps be thankful they are not doing any of your KLM flights moving forwards. There are some concerns in HUY, MME, GLA and NCL re the reliability of the flights they are going to be covering at those airports for KLM. It's apparently 2 aircraft doing 8 sectors a day - what could possibly go wrong!!!!

That's 8 sectors per day per aircraft by the way

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
