Looks like TUI is reducing Antalya from 3 weekly to 2 weekly by scrapping the Friday other carrier flight. The route will operate on Monday and Thursday.

Was there meant to be 3 per week in 2025? It still looks set to be 3 weekly in 2026, but oddly only 1 hotel option showing when you choose holidays.

Yes it was but the other carrier flight has now been dropped.

The Salzburg route also opens up Slovenia.

Crystal are also offering Spain as a ski destination from Cardiff. So, in effect Cardiff has 4 ski routes now, probably 6 if using KLM for Nth America!

This is very welcome news. Could there be more to come with the second based aircraft?
There's still a gap Tuesday afternoon after Alicante so either a 1 weekly route or we could see increases in frequency for something like Lanzarote or even Fuerteventura.

Fuerteventura now shifts to a 13:30 departure whilst Salzburg runs. It returns to its original 10am departure on the 14th of March.
I'm on the first flight to Fuerteventura and it has always been a 13:30 departure when I booked it in January. It the return flight on the 27th that has changed as originally it was due to land at 19:00 but now it's at 22:30. No big deal though

Looking at the stats for Chambery in December 2024 it saw 388 passengers, January 2025 saw 1176 passengers. In total 1564 passengers. It should be an average load of around 140 passengers when you consider 1 flight would be empty. Considering that the route was put on sale with a short build up especially for TUI i don't think that's too bad. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes. TUI/Crystal must be happy with it though to put it on sale for 2025/26 and add Salzburg.

I notice a second weekly departure to PMI for Friday morning with what seems to be a second based TUI aircraft. Odd why there aren't any other flights with that aircraft for the rest of Friday or on Saturday either. I know the summer season starts on 1 May though.

Could be lack of crew until May 1st.

Looking ahead to Summer 2026 for TUI - their current timetable has been altered to show all based flights so could be an early indicator of a 4th based?

Obviously lots of time ahead for change but we can only hope these timetables get filled for 4 based planes

Interesting as at least 5 flights are away based. It looks like Antalya and Dubrovnik will be operated by based aircraft.

As well as Monday Corfu and Wed & Thu Palma - these are now based also
On the app they still show them as away based or they did when I just checked.
Fingers crossed for good news.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
