AF1 and SAM46 left EDI Just after 10 PM, taken off to the west. There were seven other inbound planes in a holding pattern over Peebles.
As she went out over the Atlantic a C17 seems to have come up from England ahead of the
to form a transatlantic convoy. Wish them all a good flight

Canada A310 CFC01 just left EDI with the PM
Happy to report all diplomatic flights away now,
checking on AF1 this AM she was sitting at Andrews AFB

Finally off to EDI on my day return plane spotting trip after waiting 2 years due to Covid. Going up on the morning EZY flight from BHX and returning on the evening back to BHX. What is the best spotting location, it looks like it’s the spot at the end of the runway next to the car parks ?

When I went a few years ago there was a mound near the Royal Highland showground by the perimeter fence not far from where the aircraft turn after landing. Spotterguide is a good guide

Pre pandemic Edinburgh had a good selection of airlines and aircraft, hopefully many of them will have returned by now so i'm sure you'll have a great day.

Turkish will operate the A330-300 on its IST service on 18th, 25th and 29th June.

Hop it happens, need to have the camera ready.

Just been told the Washington 767 400 is going out almost full, unfortunately the services is due to go back to a 757 soon.
Boston services started today with Delta 767 300, so today we had 3 767s plus a 757 all states bound
just waiting for ORD and PHL to start along with Toronto.

Seems by what you are saying is the flights to the US are doing ok. Loads wise. Hope it continues.

Yes appears that way, I have now been told United are keeping the 767on the Washington route until August.
taken into account the Schools stop the end of next month and go back mid August, that would make sense.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
