What an excellent start. I think the route will do really well for them. Will be interesting to see if they are still operating this route in late 2027, if Jet2 come off it altogether or will deploy a B738 when they will have nothing smaller by then (unless a new aircraft type appears). Or even whether another carrier altogether hops on the route at some time. The route is certainly under served at this present time

Surprised it is not on sale for S25 yet, hopefully it will be. Cant see why not looking at the first outbound selling so well. Goes to show there is enough demand for Jet2 to use the -800 when the -300 go.

Looking at Jet2's website, looks like CDG has sold very well for the next couple of weeks also. Great!

Those are great starting loads. Also noticed our two outbound to Paris today depart within 35 minutes of each other. Wonder if that was a deliberate fighting move on U2s part? The arrivals are a good 5 hours apart with Jet2 being based and easyJet being away based. Anyone know if the Jet2 LF has suffered today with Easyjets arrival on the route?

I would expect some publicity this afternoon from LBA/easyJet to mark the inaugural flight and wouldn't it be nice too if that included some other announcement.

Meanwhile, it might be a good idea if the people doing the LBA arrivals and departures brought it up to date by including these flights (assuming they haven't done since I last checked an hour ago).

It's a great load both ways but probably down to it being half term. Let's hope the loads remain excellent throughout the winter and this becomes a permanent and more frequent route .

As has been said the route is badly underserved so definitely room for both carriers and nowt wrong with healthy competition

Cant track it on FR24. On FR24 it shows as both departed AND still on ground.
