Thanks for the information LBAspotter it's much appreciated. Didn't a couple of flights get canned at the last minute last year?

Thai Carrier Business Air has confirmed UK Hajj Operations - between the UK & Saudi Arabia. In particular 3 services from Leeds Bradford airport using its Boeing 767-300 fleet of which it has 6 in operation.

Looks like either one of the Cello Aviation, BAe 146-200, G-RAJJ or Avro RJ85, G-LENM will be visiting LBA twice tomorrow (Monday, September 23rd 2013) at the following times

CLJ166P ETA 13:00 from Birmingham
CLJ166 ETD 14:00 to Belfast City
CLJ167 ETA 22:10 from Belfast City
CLJ167P ETD 23:00 to Birmingham

Anyone know the registrations of the 2 Spitfires that flew past yesterday, or the Army Islander that landed in the afternoon?

Cheers.

I see that a VC10 is just passing over Keighley at 22000 ft and heading north according to flightradar 24. I loved it when we saw them at Lbia.

It's a shame they couldn't arrange a flyby at LBA as they did with BHX & NCL...

Looks like British Airways A319,G-EUOG has gone tech

It was G-EUOE and it was fully serviceable but had a slot restriction as mentioned above.

Completely accurate apart from that :)

This mornings Eastern Air flight from Aberdeen was operated by Embraer 135 G-CGMB and landed at 0940.

Think the Leeds based Jetstream 41, G-MAJD is tech. As evening outbound EZE81LK was cancelled while Saab 2000, G-CFLV did the late inbound EZE91LK last night and night stopped. It then did the first outbound EZE21LK this morning.

I saw it on my Kinetic Radar down to 1000 ft then it disappeared. I am sat at the side of runway 14 and never saw it land so did it come here or go somewhere else ?

Thailand based Business Air, Boeing 767-300ER, HS-BIH is due to position into Leeds at at around 20:00hrs this evening. It will then operate the first outbound Hajj charter to Jeddah at 22:45 with flight Number 8B2249.

Now hearing that this aircraft is due to operate upto 10 flights, I also understand that the schedule for the Leeds flights has been changed to what i posted on here a few weeks back...

Ive heard Its going to be operating both LBA and MAN flights, so will likely operate LBA-JED-MAN-JED-LBA patterns.

The Air Medterainee A321 apparently was too small for the operation.

LBA arrivals now has 8B2248 arriving from Cairo with an ETA 2045. Me thinks this is going to be running a bit late for some reason, But just found out that HS-BIH has been sat in Dubai since September 20th so they may have been a tail swap somewhere down the line.

Yep I understand that its due to operate 3x flights from Leeds and 2x from Manchester for Bradford based Hajj tour operator Sky Fly Connections. Flight and cabin crews are arriving into Leeds tonight and will be staying in a hotel in and around the Leeds area.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
